Aethalometer® Module Model AE45
The AE45 Aethalometer Module measures optical absorption by suspended aerosol particles at one wavelength: 880 nm (IR), quantitative for the mass of ‘Black’ Carbon. The aethalometer module has a very small footprint and power consumption requirements, providing a simple and economical means of integrating real-time Black Carbon mass concentration data into any monitoring application.
The modules only consumable item is the filter tape sample roll. Sample flow rate can be monitored using the rotometer mounted on the front panel. Black carbon mass concentration data are streamed out in the form of a 0-5V analog signal from the rear instrument connector.
